Dr Cheryl Ou Yong

A Specialist General Practitioner holds both a primary medical degree (MBBS) and a General Practice specialist degree (FRACGP), reflecting a minimum of ten years of comprehensive medical training. With additional training in various areas to address specific healthcare needs, ongoing continuing education ensures they stay abreast of the latest medical advancements.

Dr Cheryl Ou Yong studied medicine at the University of Adelaide. She has worked at Royal North Shore Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, Mount Druitt Hospital, and in general practices on the north shore, in Western Sydney and the Nepean region.

 

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, has a Diploma of Child Health and a Master of International Public Health. She is also undertaking specialty training in public health medicine. 

 

Cheryl is a busy mother of three boys and enjoys DIY projects at home when she finds the time.

 

Her interests are in children’s health, women’s health and mental health. She is an accredited Focused Psychological Strategies psychotherapy provider.
