As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and an accredited practitioner with The Royal North Shore Hospital Antenatal Shared Care program, Dr. Chan is committed to maintaining high standards in general practice. His passion for quality care is evident in his role as a clinical supervisor for Macquarie University medical students.
Graduating with First Class Honours in Medicine from the University of New South Wales, Dr. Chan has garnered extensive experience in hospitals and GP practices across Sydney and rural NSW. His commitment to global health is highlighted by his voluntary service as one of two doctors in a rural Ugandan hospital for six months.
Dr. Chan's medical interests span various areas, including paediatrics, mental health, and travel medicine.
Outside of his professional commitments, he finds joy in chasing after his three children, engaging in football, exploring the depths through scuba diving, and embarking on exciting travel adventures.
Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Dr. Chan ensures effective communication with a diverse range of patients.

Does Northbridge Medical Practice take walk-ins?Generally, the practice does not take walk-in appointments Monday - Friday. However, clinic hours on Saturday from 8am-11am are reserved for walk-in appointments only.

Are Doctors available for home visits?If you are too unwell to come into the surgery yet need to be seen by a doctor, a home visit may be arranged for those residing in the Northbridge area. If you are out of the area or need a doctor out of our clinic hours, please contact the after hours doctor service 13 Sick on 13 74 25.
