Dr Shadi Hekmat

Dr Shadi Hekmat is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a passion for aesthetic medicine, skin health and empowering her patients to feel confident in their own skin.

After graduating in 2005, she completed her postgraduate medical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She has worked in General Practice since 2011 and achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. In 2016, Dr Shadi moved to Sydney to continue serving the community through compassionate, holistic care.

Alongside her broad GP experience, Dr Shadi has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, weight management and lifestyle medicine, dermatology, skin cancer medicine and minor surgical procedures. She is also trained in Implanon insertion and removal.

Her passion for aesthetic medicine and dermatology led her to pursue advanced training in cosmetic medicine. She focuses on subtle, tailored injectable treatments that enhance your natural beauty, support graceful ageing and boost confidence. With a holistic approach, she emphasises patient education and empowerment — ensuring you feel comfortable, informed and confident every step of the way.

Outside of medicine, she speaks fluent English and Persian (Farsi), and loves bushwalking, cooking, travelling and spending time with her husband and two young children. Warm-natured and genuinely caring, she values forming long-term relationships with her patients and is committed to supporting their health and wellbeing over time.
