Dr Sue Paton
Dr. Sue Paton is presently not accepting new patients.
A Specialist General Practitioner holds both a primary medical degree (MBBS) and a General Practice specialist degree (FRACGP), reflecting a minimum of ten years of comprehensive medical training. With additional training in various areas to address specific healthcare needs, ongoing continuing education ensures they stay abreast of the latest medical advancements.
Special Interests
Dr. Paton embarked on her medical journey at the University of Sydney, graduating with Honours in 1979. Her early career included a three-year stint at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, followed by international experiences in Jamaica and the UK. During this period, she achieved her Diploma in Anaesthetics, garnered valuable exposure in Obstetrics and Paediatrics, and earned Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK (MRCGP).
Upon returning to Australia, Dr. Paton contributed to general practice in various locations before becoming an integral part of the esteemed practice of Drs L’Estrange & Hathaway in Naremburn in 1990. In 2001, she joined forces with Dr. Hathaway to amalgamate their practice with Drs Robertson & Thomas in Northbridge.
Dr. Paton's commitment to comprehensive care extends across all age groups, addressing both acute and chronic healthcare needs. Her expertise in diving medicine remains current, thanks to her active involvement and membership in the South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society.
Beyond her medical pursuits, Dr. Paton engages in a rich tapestry of personal interests, including kayaking, bushwalking, bike riding, sailing, and scuba diving. Her well-rounded approach to life is reflected not only in her medical proficiency but also in her passion for outdoor adventures and exploration.
