A Specialist General Practitioner holds both a primary medical degree (MBBS) and a General Practice specialist degree (FRACGP), reflecting a minimum of ten years of comprehensive medical training. With additional training in various areas to address specific healthcare needs, ongoing continuing education ensures they stay abreast of the latest medical advancements.
Special Interests
Dr Zaverdinos studied medicine at the University of NSW, graduating with Honours. He worked at the Prince of Wales Hospital for several years, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1998, and then joined the Northbridge Medical Practice.
Dr Zaverdinos is a supervisor for General Practice Trainee Registrars, and also teaches medical students.
Dr Zaverdinos enjoys treating patients of all ages, with a special interest in Children’s and Men’s health. He visits patients at Castlecrag Private Hospital and local nursing homes.
Tim spends most of his free time running his two boys to soccer, and is a keen golfer.
